Course Description:
The course offers Maritime English vocabulary training with a focus on safety drills. It is designed to help seafarers improve communication skills and easily understand and respond to key safety drill commands.
Learning objectives:
At the end of the training course the participant shall:
· Demonstrate proper communication practices in the context of safety drills
· Understand maritime terms related to safety drills
· Distinguish how words with letter combinations are pronounced
· Recognise the importance of asking for clarifications, if needed, when responding to safety drill commands
