Course Description:
This course focuses on preventing slips, trips, and falls (STF), which are among the leading causes of injuries in maritime and offshore operations. Participants will learn how to identify STF hazards, apply practical prevention measures, and use the Bowtie methodology to manage risks effectively. The training combines best practices in surface safety, housekeeping, ergonomic design, and behavioural safety with interactive exercises and real-life case studies. By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop Bowtie diagrams for STF scenarios, implement proactive safety measures, and promote a strong safety culture.
