Course Description:

The course was developed specifically for learners to be acquainted with the objectives of Port State Control which will motivate the crew and make them appreciate the importance of ensuring a vessel is safely operated .

This course ensures that all personnel are provided with proper guidance and helpful tips that will assist them in identifying the deficiencies and important aspects of PSC inspections.

Learning objectives:

At the end of the training course the participants shall:

•To be prepared for successful PSC inspections.

•Understand the principals of PARIS MoU, AMSA and USCG inspections.

•To be familiar with the guidance and company procedures to prepare the vessel for PSC inspections.

•Learn how to follow-up on the deficiencies.
