Course Description:
This training is for seafarers and those working in the maritime industry, who want to learn about seafarers’ mental health, and what can be done to improve mental strength and increase resilience.
Resilience is increasingly being recognised in the industry as a crucial component in determining the success of a seafarer’s career, influencing their job performance, job satisfaction, and overall wellbeing.
Learning objectives:
At the end of the training course the participant shall be able to understand the theoretical concepts about resilience, understand and be able to predict what factors weaken mental resilience, and be able to apply the results of evidence-based studies towards improving their own resilience and that of others.
