The aim of this course is to educate the Master and Deck Officers working onboard Container vessels to reduce and eliminate adverse effects of parametric rolling and synchronous rolling by understanding certain parameters and maneuvering techniques following the guidelines promulgated by the IMO MSC Circular 1228. This course helps the Master and Deck Officers deeply understand the theories and concepts of evaluating sea conditions to eliminate the danger of Parametric and Synchronous rolling.
