Course Description:

This online training is designed for the trainees to know the immediate measures to administer first aid in order to save lives before the medical person in-charge arrives at the scene.

This includes how to assess the casualty and the surrounding area; perform CPR- Cardio pulmonary resuscitation; Artificial Resuscitation; Understand the importance of recovery position; how to apply direct and indirect pressure to the wounds; administer first aid to the person under the state of shock; administer first aid to the person chock; administer first aid treatment to burn and scalds; properly transport the victim.

This training is in accordance with the STCW Table A-VI/1-3- Specification of minimum standard of competence in elementary first aid.
