Course Overview

Course Description: 

This training is aimed at seafarers and persons who have interactions with seafarers, and are in a role which influences seafarers’ recruitment, wellbeing and life on board. This includes shipowners, operators and maritime shore-based personnel. ​​

 Through this training, participants will learn about work-cultures which reduce the likelihood of sexual harassment, learn to identify sexual harassment and understand its impact on crew and the daily operations of a vessel. They will also learn what to do if they experience or witness sexual harassment. ​

​Sexual Harassment training is mandatory under the STCW Convention as of January 2026 for all seafarers.
