The course provides useful information about Megger test of different electrical equipment and cables on shipboard and corresponding safety precautions.

  At the end of the training course the participant shall:

·        Understand the insulation resistance parameters and the various methods of testing.

·        Know how to provide the correct insulation resistance test of different electrical equipment and cables,         and analyze to test results.

·        Be familiar with safety precautions on Megger test.
