A programme of training approved by The Bahamas Maritime Authority and meeting the requirements laid down in Regulation VI/6.4 of The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978, as amended (STCW) and STCW Code Sec A- A-VI/6.6, 6.7, 6.8. This certificate is issued in accordance with the provisions of STCW Regulation Table A-VI /6-2.
Target Audience:
Seafarers that have designated security duties are duties or tasks that have been assigned to the person and which are either included in the muster list, emergency plan, vessel’s Safety Management System (SMS), Ship Security Pan (SSP), job description or other shipboard documentation.
