Course Description:

The course provides information about the safety precautions to take when water blasting equipment is used. Correct and approved PPE should always be used, while operating the unit and supervisors need to be knowledgeable where to place the appropriate signs around the area.

   Learning objectives:

At the end of the training course the participant shall:

·       Explain how water blasting works

·       Identify the parts of water blasting unit

·       Define the personal protective equipment (PPE), necessary to operate the water blasting

·       Evaluate the consequences of non-suitable PPE
