  Course Description:
This course is designed to equip Shipboard Personnel with knowledge, information, procedures for Enclosed Space Entry and their associated hazards.
   Learning objectives:
At the end of the training course the participant shall:
·       Define the characteristics of an enclosed space
·       Recognize hazards associated with enclosed space entry
·       Identify the enclosed spaces on board
·       Explain the Risk Assessment Procedure
·       Apply enclosed space entry procedures
·       Explain the duties and responsibilities of involved persons
·       Describe the enclosed space entry safety requirements
·       Identify entry and rescue equipment
·       Explain how to rescue a seafarer from an enclosed space
